Risk Notice
Effective Date: 30 May 2026 · Last Updated: 27 May 2026
This Risk Notice is provided in addition to our Disclaimer and Terms of Service. Read it carefully before using the Service to make trading decisions.
1. General Market Risk
All financial markets carry the risk that you may lose part or all of your capital. Markets are unpredictable, influenced by countless variables, and no tool, signal, or analysis — including those provided by Ave Signal — can eliminate this risk. Even experienced traders lose money regularly.
You should only trade or invest with capital you can afford to lose entirely.
2. Cryptocurrency-Specific Risks
Cryptocurrency markets carry risks that go beyond traditional financial markets:
- Extreme volatility: Crypto prices can move 20–50% in a single day, sometimes in minutes
- 24/7 markets: No circuit breakers, no trading halts, no overnight rest
- Liquidity risk: Smaller tokens may be impossible to exit at a fair price during a sell-off
- Smart contract risk: DeFi protocols may have bugs, exploits, or be drained by attackers
- Custody risk: You may lose access to your assets through lost keys, exchange hacks, or insolvency
- Regulatory risk: Laws affecting crypto change frequently and unpredictably; entire asset classes may be banned in your jurisdiction
- Counterparty risk: Exchanges, custodians, and DeFi protocols may freeze withdrawals, fail, or commit fraud
- Manipulation risk: Many crypto markets are thin and subject to coordinated manipulation
3. Leverage and Derivatives Risks
If you use leverage, futures, perpetuals, options, or other derivatives:
- Leverage amplifies BOTH gains AND losses
- You can lose more than your initial investment (and become indebted to your broker/exchange)
- Liquidations can happen in seconds during volatile moves
- Funding rates, time decay (theta), and implied volatility can erode positions even when price moves in your favor
- Margin requirements may change without notice, forcing premature closures
Derivatives are NOT suitable for most retail traders. Most retail traders using leverage lose money.
4. Stock Market and Equity Risks
- Individual stocks may go to zero (bankruptcy, fraud, delisting)
- Earnings, news, and macro events cause sudden gaps that no signal can prevent
- Options carry time decay and can expire worthless
- Short selling carries unlimited theoretical loss
- Pre/post-market trading has lower liquidity and wider spreads
5. Forex and Commodity Risks
- Forex pairs are often traded with very high leverage (50x–500x), making losses fast and large
- Commodity prices are influenced by geopolitical events, weather, and supply shocks that no signal can predict
- Currency-pair volatility around central bank decisions can wipe out positions in minutes
6. Signal and AI Limitations
Signals and AI outputs from Ave Signal are based on observable data and statistical patterns. They have inherent limitations:
- They cannot predict black swan events, geopolitical shocks, or unprecedented market conditions
- They are based on historical patterns that may not repeat
- AI models may produce confident-sounding but incorrect outputs (hallucinations)
- Whale tracking and flow detection observe data but cannot read intent (a large move may be a hedge, not directional)
- Signals do not account for your specific position size, leverage, fees, slippage, or tax situation
Treat signals as ONE input among many in your decision process, never as a standalone reason to enter or exit a trade.
7. Operational and Technical Risks
- The Service may experience downtime, delays, or data interruptions
- Internet outages on your side may prevent you from acting on signals
- Exchange APIs may fail, lag, or return incorrect data
- Your trading platform may freeze during high volatility (when it matters most)
- Push notifications, emails, and SMS alerts may be delayed by external providers
8. Psychological Risks
Trading carries psychological risks that are often underestimated:
- FOMO (fear of missing out) leads to entering trades at bad prices
- Revenge trading after a loss compounds losses
- Confirmation bias makes traders ignore signals contradicting their position
- Overtrading erodes capital through fees and bad decisions
- Trading addiction is a recognized behavioral disorder
If you feel trading is negatively affecting your mental health, financial wellbeing, or relationships, stop and seek professional support. Resources are available worldwide for problem trading and gambling-related issues.
9. Tax and Legal Compliance
You are responsible for reporting all trading activity and paying any taxes due in your jurisdiction. Tax laws around crypto and trading are complex, vary by country, and change frequently. Consult a qualified tax advisor.
Some trading activities (high-frequency, derivatives, foreign exchanges) may require licenses or registrations in your country. Ensure your activity is legal where you live.
10. Risk Tolerance Self-Assessment
Before using Ave Signal to inform any trade, ask yourself honestly:
- Can I afford to lose 100% of the capital I'm risking?
- Do I have a written risk management plan (position sizing, stop losses, max daily loss)?
- Am I trading with rented or borrowed money? (If yes — stop.)
- Have I had a professional review my financial situation?
- Am I emotionally and mentally fit to trade right now?
If you answered "no" or "I'm not sure" to any of these, do not trade based on Service outputs until you can answer "yes" to all.
11. No Guarantee of Outcome
Ave Signal makes no representation, warranty, or guarantee that:
- Any signal will be profitable
- Any analysis will be correct
- Any AI output will be accurate
- Any data will be timely or error-free
- You will achieve any specific outcome from using the Service
